ARRESTS

1) Retail Theft Arrest, 1:28 p.m., Tuesday, October 24, 2017, 2030 Fruitville Pike – Walmart (MT) – Lindsey N. Schatz, F/28, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after she stole $1,144.22 worth of merchandise from the store. A criminal complaint was filed.

2) Possessing Instruments of Crime / Sale and Use of Air Rifles / Disorderly Conduct Arrest, 12:19 a.m., Monday, December 4, 2017, Betz Farm Drive at Gable Park Drive (LT) – A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with the above offenses after they were found in public past curfew hour restrictions. When officers spoke with the juvenile he caused a commotion which drew the attention of persons in the area. When officers searched the juvenile, they located a silver/black BB gun, brown gloves, other clothing used to cover the face, and a copper pipe. A juvenile allegation was filed Juvenile Probation.

3) Harassment Arrest, 11:56 p.m., Saturday, December 2, 2017, 300 block Elmshire Drive (LT) – Cassandra M. Walleigh, F/22, of Oxford, PA, was charged with the above offense following a domestic dispute. During the altercation, Walleigh closed a door on another person’s hand. A citation was issued.

4) Public Drunkenness Arrest, 10:20 p.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2017, 1004 Harrisburg Pike – Turkey Hill (MT) – Austin M. Starry, M/23, of Columbia, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed unconscious due to a drug-induced overdose. Starry needed to be revived with Narcan. A citation was filed.

5) Hit & Run Arrest, 6:23 p.m., Friday, December 1, 2017, Columbia Avenue at Abbeyville Road (LT) – Thomas B. Garvin, M/41, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after rear-ending another vehicle and fleeing the scene. Garvin admitted to causing the crash and fleeing the scene. A criminal complaint was filed.

6) Warrant Arrest, 11:05 p.m., Wednesday, December 6, 2017, Route 222 at Route 30 (MT) – Joshua D. Knepp, M/31, of Lancaster, PA, was arrested on an outstanding DUI warrant following a traffic stop. He was turned over to the Lancaster County Sheriff.

7) Retail Theft / Prohibited Offensive Weapons / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest, 6:56 p.m., Wednesday, December 6, 2017, 1268 Lititz Pike – Marshall’s (MT) – Thomas C. Belle, M/63, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed stealing $99.98 worth of merchandise from the store. Belle was arrested and during the search incident to arrest was found in possession of brass knuckles and a glass pipe containing crack cocaine residue. He was taken to Central Arraignment.

8) Drug Arrests, 10:17 p.m., Friday, December 1, 2017, 1492 Lititz Pike – Days Inn (MT) – Stephan T. Battle, M/19, Gary D. Smith, M/18, and Juanya I. Gonzalez, M/18, all of Lancaster, PA, were inside a vehicle following a traffic stop. Officers searched the vehicle and located 2.4g of marijuana contained within clear baggies, a marijuana grinder, as well as a tobacco cigar filled with marijuana. A criminal complaint was filed against Battle for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. A criminal complaint was filed against Smith for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. A criminal complaint was filed against Gonzalez for Possession of Marijuana.

1) Retail Theft, 6:01 p.m., Monday, September 25, 2017, 2030 Fruitville Pike – Walmart (MT) – Josue Rivera-Mercado, M/31, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he stole $387.76 worth of merchandise from the store. A criminal complaint was filed as he is already incarcerated in Lancaster County Prison on unrelated charges.

CRIMES & INCIDENTS

1) Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts / Accessories, December 5-6, 2017, 200 block Federal Way (MT) – Unknown person/s stole a bike rack from a vehicle as it sat parked overnight. Total loss: $400.00.

2) Retail Theft, 8:27 p.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2017, 1136 Harrisburg Pike – Sunoco (MT) – An unknown Hispanic male stole three (3) boxes of 5-Hour Energy drinks. Total loss: $125.64.

3) Retail Theft, 9:10 p.m., Sunday, November 26, 2017, 1699 Oregon Pike – Sheetz (MT) – An unknown person stole a $300.00 worth of energy drinks from the walk-in cooler. Investigation continues.

4) Criminal Mischief, December 5-6, 2017, 1000 block Lehn Drive (MT) – Unknown person/s cut wires to outdoor holiday lighting. Total loss: $6.00.

5) Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts / Accessories, 4:30-6:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 6, 2017, 400 block Delp Road (MT) – Unknown person/s stole the plastic housing cover of a vehicle’s rear-view mirror as it sat parked. Total loss: $120.00.
