LANCASTER, Penna. (January 5th, 2021) – On Monday, January 3rd, the Manheim Township Board of Commissioners reinstituted their COVID-19 mask requirements at Township buildings and facilities for residents, visitors, customers, and patrons. Regardless of vaccination status, all persons two years or older must wear a mask inside a Manheim Township facility or building. The policy is effective immediately.
Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases during and after the holidays, and several recent cases within our buildings, we ask that you help us minimize the spike by wearing a mask. It is imperative that we support our staff, first responders, and front-facing employees during this recent surge, so that we may continue to serve our community in our respective fields and job responsibilities.
The Manheim Township Board of Commissioners will revisit this policy at the end of January.
All residents are encouraged to get vaccinated and can make an appointment by visiting Vaccines.gov.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
