Current News Overlook Golf Course has been busy during this season making course improvements. A new teeing area adjacent to the old tee on hole #16 has been built and seeded and a new tee box on hole #17 was added. We're hoping for a spring opening for the new tees. We've also have been removing trees and bushes in an effort to help stimulate growth of healthy turf throughout areas of the golf course. We continue to change and improve Overlook to meet the high expectations of our golfers. Please come and give us a try, we're the "New" Overlook Golf Course.

Golf Course Superintendent - Telephone (717) 569-6221 In 1994 Overlook began rebuilding two greens a year and have completed this rebuilding process. All of our greens are USGA specifications, sand based, with an average size of 6,500 square feet of putting surface. The pond on number three has been lined with a plastic liner and outlined with rocks. The blooming of the wildflowers on numbers three and fifteen will make for a colorful and inviting round. We have also let the area to the left of number three tee go back to nature, in hopes of attracting more hawks and animals to live in this area.We continue to strive to improve the course and add new tee boxes and bunkers. We invite you to come out and play a round and experience the "NEW" Overlook Golf Course.
Practice Facility The Overlook Driving Rrange opened on July 22, 2000. It contains a huge grass teeing area, 30 artificial grass tee stations, and a sand trap. In May of 2004, we opened a second tee at the opposite end of the range with lights. The all grass tee is second to none in the area. The driving range lights are normally on until 10 PM in the summer months. The distance from tee to tee is about 360 yards. Tokens for the vending machine may be purchased at the range or at the golf pro shop. The cost for a bucket of 30 golf balls is $3.00, and the cost for a bucket of 75 golf balls is $6.00. The hours of operation vary seasonally. Coming in Early 2006 is a Brand New State of the Art Indoor Driving Range that will allow customers to hit balls either inside into nets, or when conditions allow, open garage doors and hit balls out into the range at various targets.
