Claims against Manheim Township for property damage or personal injury must be filed in writing with the Township Manager or the assigned risk management coordinator.
If you feel you have a claim, you may submit a letter to the Township outlining the circumstances of the incident, as well as estimates for repairs or damages (or receipts if repairs have been completed).
For convenience, the Township has a standard claim information packet and form available to assist a claimant to gathering basic information about the circumstances of the claim for submission. In place of a written letter, a claimant may complete the form, filling in answers to all questions and also attach copies of any receipts or estimates, for submission. Once your letter/form and attached background information is received, the claim will be investigated by the Township and/or its claims adjusters. A representative will contact the claimant via telephone and/or in writing of the decision.
