In accordance with the Act of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (Act of July 31, 1963, P.L. 410, 53 P.S. Sections 4471-1-4471-16), an application for a license is required prior to conducting a closing out, fire, or liquidation sale. The Township Manager will review the application, and if it is complete, will issue a license for thirty (30) consecutive days from the date of issuance.
A license may be renewed ten (10) days before the end of the original license period expires for an additional thirty (30) days. To request an extension, the applicant would need to submit a request in writing to renew, the renewal fee and an updated inventory list showing any further price reduction.
