The Accessory Dwelling Unit provisions of the Manheim Township Zoning Ordinance provide an opportunity to accommodate extended family living, without substantially altering existing neighborhood character. 

Accessory Dwelling Units shall be permitted as a use by special exception in accordance with the general standards as set forth in The Manheim Township Zoning Ordinance.  Here is an overview of the general standards and specific criteria that regulate Accessory Dwelling Units.
