LEGAL NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that at the regularly scheduled public meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Manheim Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to be held on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Manheim Township Municipal Building 1840 Municipal Drive, Lancaster, Pennsylvania the Board will consider for enactment proposed ORDINANCE 2025-04 the full title and text of which is as follows: ORDINANCE 2025-04. AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING ADDITION OF SPECIAL PURPOSE PARKING ZONE AND REMOVAL OF SPECIAL PURPOSE PARKING ZONE FROM SCHEDULE II-D WHICH IS CONTAINED IN THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MANHEIM AT § 480-75 AND IS REFERRED TO IN § 480-24. BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the Township of Manheim, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, as follows: SECTION 1. Section 480-75, Schedule II-D of the Code of the Township of Manheim, as amended (“Code”), is hereby amended to establish the following special purpose parking zone, the same shall be added to those set forth in Schedule II-D of the Code, the appropriate signs shall be posted as set forth in the applicable Engineering and Traffic Study attached to and made a part of this Ordinance: Street: Manheim Avenue, Side: North, Location: In front of 112 Manheim Avenue, Authorized Purpose or Vehicle: Handicapped Parking. SECTION 2. The handicapped warning sign (W11-9) on Manheim Avenue across from 136 Manheim Avenue shall be removed, and Ordinance No. 2017-01 authorizing the posting of the handicapped warning sign across from 136 Manheim Avenue is hereby repealed. SECTION 3. Should any paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, the remainder of said Ordinance shall remain in full force and effect, and the same shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Ordinance. SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall become effective upon enactment.
