LEGAL NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that at the regularly scheduled public meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Manheim Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Manheim Township Municipal Building, 1840 Municipal Drive, Lancaster, Pennsylvania the Board will hold a public hearing after which the Board will vote on whether to adopt Ordinance 2026-01, the full title and text of which is as follows: AN ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 202 CONSTRUCTION CODES OF THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MANHEIM AND REPLACING IT WITH A NEW CHAPTER 202 THAT ADOPTS AND INCORPORARTES THEREIN THE 2021 EDITION OF THE UNIFORM CONSTRUCTION CODE AND INTERNATIONAL CODES AND AMENDS, ADDS AND DELETES CERTAIN PROVISIONS THEREIN. The ordinance adopts and incorporates by reference the 2021 edition of the Uniform Construction Codes and International Codes and makes modifications to certain provisions of the UCC and I-Codes that equal or exceed the minimum requirements of these codes. Violations and penalties are set forth in the proposed ordinance. The proposed ordinance includes repealer and severability provisions as well as an effective date provision. A copy of the proposed ordinance may be examined or copied in the office of the Township Secretary at 1840 Municipal Drive, Lancaster, Pennsylvania on regular business days between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. A copy of the Ordinance also may be examined without charge at the offices of this newspaper (LNP) and at the Lancaster County Law Library located at 50 N. Duke Street, Lancaster, PA 17602.
