The Boettcher House is a historical landmark, built in 1920, surrounded by a stone patio and nestled in a beautiful natural habitat area known as Landis Woods. Individuals and organizations are invited to rent the Boettcher House for meetings and special events. Alcoholic beverages are permitted at such events as wedding receptions and banquets under separate contract. Rental costs for the facility are minimal and all utilities have been modernized. Meeting areas, including the Napolitan Room with its huge fireplace and vaulted ceiling, kitchen and washrooms, are beautifully restored; yet retain the ambience of their era. One area of the house, established as the Boettcher House Museum, has a fascinating and growing collection of displays reflecting the natural and historical heritage of Manheim Township. For rental fees and additional information, please call 290-7180.
The Boettcher House Museum Board is seeking additional volunteers to serve on the Board, or to act as docents, sharing a few hours a month teaching others about the history of the building and the program opportunities which exist. Are you interested? If so, please click on the link below to fill out a volunteer application, or call 290-7180, extension 3102 for additional information on these opportunities.
