In 1996, Granite Run Properties constructed a pathway extending north and south of Granite Run Drive, connecting to Biscayne Road to the north and Hawthorne Center to the south. Last year, Granite Run Properties expanded their pathway system through a combination of both asphalt paths and sidewalk. The new pathway also ties into the back of Hawthorne Centre and extends through the Overlook Community Campus predominately on the south side of Granite Run Drive before crossing Granite Run Drive and connecting to Coventry Road to the north.
