Health and Safety Plan
“Outdoor Movie Night”
As required by the Pennsylvania Department of Health
To do our best to mitigate the potential spread of COVID-19, we will be following CDC recommendations to make adjustments to our community program operations. This document is intended to educate the public on the adjustments we have made to keep our patrons and staff healthy and safe.
Preventative Action
Staff will use no-touch thermometers to take temperatures of patrons participating in the Outdoor Movie Night program as well as other staff members prior to coming into the facility. They should be wearing all provided PPE while doing this, including mask, and gloves. Persons who have a fever of 100.40 F (38.00C) or above or other signs of illness will not be admitted in the facility.
A. Screening- Per CDC Recommended Protocol
• Staff- Upon arrival, wash your hands and put on a facemask, and a single pair of disposable gloves.
• Make a visual inspection of the patron for signs of illness, which could include flushed cheeks, rapid breathing or difficulty breathing (without recent physical activity), fatigue, or extreme fussiness, and confirm that the child is not experiencing coughing or shortness of breath.
• Take the patron’s temperature.
o When using disposable or non-contact (temporal) thermometers, and if you did not have physical contact with an individual, you do not need to change gloves before the next check.
o If you use non-contact thermometers, clean them with an alcohol wipe (or isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab) between each client. You can reuse the same wipe as long as it remains wet.
Increased sanitation efforts will be made multiple times during the Outdoor Movie Night, to include high-touch areas such as bathrooms, handrails, concession area, etc.
Hand sanitizer will be available and required for all patrons at the check-in table. Additional hand sanitizers will be stationed throughout the complex for your use.
