Monday night during the Board of Commissioners meeting held at the Manheim Township Municipality Office, Lancaster native and Manheim Township High School graduate, Aidan Cliff was awarded a certificate of recognition for his outstanding work at THON. As a junior at Penn State University, Aidan played a major role as development director, and oversaw the annual dance marathon that raises money for childhood cancer research and enhances the lives of children and families affected by childhood cancer.
“We are happy to recognize Aidan’s accomplishments as THON Development Director, and proud to say he resides in our township,” said Commissioner Carol Gifford. “Aidan has a bright future ahead of him.”
Penn State's 2020 THON raised $11,696,942.38 for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children's Hospital. We commend Aidan and all the Penn State students and volunteers for their selfless work and commitment to such an amazing cause that continues to help so many. We Are!
