This Saturday, August 7th, at 5:30 pm, the Boettcher House Museum Summer Concert Series continues with Abigail's Garden!
Location: 2369 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601 (Landis Woods).
Abigail’s Garden performs engaging songs from celtic, to gypsy, waltzes and originals that express beauty and whimsy. This lovely trio is comprised of Renee Heiser Lentz on vocals & guitar, Tish Brown on ukulele, fiddle and vocals, and Laurie Haines Reese on cello. Each seasoned musician adds a unique touch to the varied selections, whether it’s a small original riff or a beautiful blend of harmonies. Their repertoire includes lively traditional Irish songs like Tell Me Ma and Whisky in the Jar which contrast with beautiful harmonies and lilting voices on songs like Danny Boy, The Parting Glass and Caledonia. They perform Irish jigs, reels and waltzes as instrumentals. Added to this mix are original songs including My Baby, Ukulele Blues, Darby's Jig and The Monk’s March.
