LEGAL NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that at the regularly scheduled public meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Manheim Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to be held on Monday, May 23, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at the Morgan Center, Manheim Township Public Library, 595 Granite Run Drive, Lancaster, Pennsylvania the Board will consider for enactment proposed ORDINANCE 2022-07. AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF PEDESTRIAN CROSSWALK AND WARNING SIGNS AND A NO OUTLET SIGN. BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the Township of Manheim, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, as follows: SECTION 1. The posting of a pedestrian crosswalk and two pedestrian warning signs (W11A-2) on Wallingford Road. The pedestrian crosswalk sign shall be installed at 632 Wallingford Road (where a walking path crosses the road) and pedestrian warning signs shall be installed approximately 30’ south and 30’ north of the pedestrian crosswalk as set forth in the applicable Engineering and Traffic Studies attached to and made a part of this Ordinance. SECTION 2. The posting of a No Outlet sign (W14-2) on Rachel Drive. The sign should be installed on the eastern side of Rachel Drive to the north of the intersection with Richland Drive as set forth in the applicable Engineering and Traffic Studies attached to and made a part of this Ordinance. SECTION 3. Should any paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, the remainder of said Ordinance shall remain in full force and effect, and the same shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Ordinance. SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall become effective upon enactment. Copies of Ordinance No. 2022-07 together with any related exhibits are available for public inspection and may be examined by any citizen in the office of the Township Secretary 1840 Municipal Drive, Lancaster, Pennsylvania on regular business days between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. This meeting will be held in-person and virtually. Instructions for participating virtually are posted on the Township’s website (www.manheimtownship.org). The public may contact the Township during regular business hours with any questions.
