The day is finally here! Phase 2 of the Jaycee Park Rehabilitation begins this Monday, July 25th. The north side of the park will be closed until November 16th, which is the projected completion date for this work.
This project started in 2019 when we completed Phase 1 on the south side of the park. In 2020 we received a matching DCNR grant to assist with funding on phase 2. In 2021, we held 2 public meetings at Jaycee Park to understand what the neighbors wanted their park to look like. Thanks to their input, we were able to design a park. Now, the time has finally come to make that into a reality. Please be patient over the next few months while we ensure your park is ready for play!
