[ARCHIVED] Manheim Township Public Library Set to Host 2nd Annual Pop-Up Silent Auction

Pop Up Silent Auction

Manheim Township Public Library will host their 2nd Annual Pop-Up Silent Auction between Monday, June 19th and Saturday, July 1st. The auction will not only showcase the best that Lancaster County has to offer, but support the library and its offerings, services and programs as well.

The two-week event will begin at 10 am on Monday, June 19th, where interested parties will need a bid number to participate. To receive a bid number, please visit the Circulation Desk at the Library, located at 595 Granite Run Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601. You can also receive a bid number by going online at https://mtpl.info/popup-silent-auction/

“Manheim Township Public Library held its inaugural Silent Auction last year. It was such a success that we’re doing it again this year!” said Manheim Township Public Library Director, Joyce Sands. “Support the Library by bidding on a selection of unique, delicious, and beautiful items. There’s something for every taste and interest.”

Last year, the Manheim Township Public Library raised $4,500 in their inaugural silent auction. MTPL staff are looking to surpass that goal, and reach $5,000. There will be 50 items available for bidding, including custom-designed quilts and artwork, local entertainment, a ride to school on a fire truck, chocolate gift baskets, and so much more.

Bidding for all items closes at 12:00 pm on Saturday, July 1st. Participants are encouraged to bid early and often. Winning bidders will be notified by email on Saturday, July 1st.
