Manheim Township Public Library will host their 15th Annual Book Sale today, Tuesday, September 12th (9 am – 8 pm), Wednesday, September 13th (9 am – 8 pm) and Thursday, September 14th (9 am – 5 pm, ½ Price Day).
The three-day event will be located at the Overlook Activities Center at 301 Golf Drive, Lancaster PA, inside the Roller Skating Rink. Hosted by the Manheim Township Public Library and sponsored by Barley Snyder Attorneys at Law, the book sale is one of the Library’s major fundraiser events, with proceeds from the sale being used for library materials, programs and equipment.
“Wear your comfortable shoes so you can browse this year’s assortment of books, CDs, DVDs, and puzzles to your heart’s content. We have a large, well-organized collection of items to choose from,” said Manheim Township Public Library Executive Director, Joyce Sands. “Support Manheim Township Public Library while building your own personal collection. Don’t miss the special activities for children on Wednesday, September 13th and half price day on Thursday, September 14th.”
Hardcover books are $2, paperback books are 50¢, children’s hardcover books are $1, children’s paperback books are 50¢ while DVDs are $1, CDs are 50¢ and puzzles are $1. Cash, check, or credit cards are all accepted, with a minimum $3 purchase for credit cards.
Book and media donations will not be accepted at the book sale, but rather at the Manheim Township Public Library on Tuesdays and Fridays between 9 am and 11 am.
On Wednesday, September 13th, there will be a Children’s Day at the Book Sale (9 am – 8 pm) which will include Early Bird Story Time at 9 am (registration is required at www.mtpl.info), a Scavenger Hunt between 2 pm and 4 pm, and children will receive one FREE paperback book all day.
