LEGAL NOTICE
PUBLIC MEETING ON CDBG NEEDS AND PROJECTS
Manheim Township Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on May 12, 2025, as part of their regularly scheduled meeting. The hearing will be held at the Manheim Township Municipal offices located at 1840 Municipal Drive and will begin at approximately 6:00 PM.
The purpose of this hearing is to discuss needs in the community which Manheim Township is planning to address with funds available under Lancaster County's Fiscal Year 2025 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. Manheim Township has identified a project that it intends to submit to the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Lancaster to address one or more of the needs identified by Manheim Township and contained in Lancaster County's Fiscal Years 2021- 2025 Consolidated Plan.
Manheim Township invites affected residents, property owners, and other stakeholders to attend this meeting to identify other needs that should be addressed and to comment on the following potential proposed project(s):
800 block of Eden Road: Widening of the road, installation of approximately 680 linear feet of concrete curbing, along with approximately 2,850 square feet of concrete sidewalk, and 865 square feet of concrete driveway apron.
Grant funding requested is $200,000 with $50,000 matching funds from the Township. Project will serve hundreds of local residents who use this sidewalk for pedestrian circulation and passive recreations.
