We’re going cashless at all Manheim Township Recreation Facilities in 2024!

(Overlook Activities Center, Sand Trap / Overlook Golf Course, Overlook / Skyline Pools).

Daily Admissions and Concessions

Effective May 25th, 2024, all sales (admissions & concessions) at Overlook/Skyline Pools and the Overlook Activities Center will be cashless. Overlook Golf Course has already transitioned to cashless for all Pro Shop and Tee Time purchases.

  1. Credit, Debit, Gift Card and Pre-Paid Ticket/Admission Vouchers will be accepted at all locations. Cash sales will not be possible moving forward on-location, but still available at Stauffer Mansion M-F 7:30-4:30 pm (excluding holidays) for the 2024 year.
  2. ID will be required for admission sales. Common ID methods will be acceptable including Driver’s License, Government ID, School ID, Etc. Sales online will be tied to an account holder, establishing identity of the user. Online sales will not require ID upon admission. 
  3. If looking to pre-pay for admission to any Recreation Facility, a new process has been developed with our software, CivicRec. Credit/Debit payment methods will be accepted by logging into your CivicRec Account. E-Receipt will be provided, and you may use this as an admission voucher.  Vouchers are valid one year from purchase date or one full pool season, whichever is first. No “After 5 pm” Daily Admissions for the pools will be sold online for pre-purchase.
  1. If looking to add funds to a Gift Card for concession items, you will be able to do so in-person or online (see below).
  2. If looking to use cash for payment method for season passes/daily admissions, cash sales may be made at Stauffer Mansion M-F 7:30am-4:30pm.  Exclusions apply as Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, etc. the Stauffer Mansion office will be closed.

Season Pass Holders

Access will continue for season passes in a manner as prior seasons:

  • Season passes are valid at both Overlook and Skyline Pools
  • ID Cards will be issued for all season pass holders (adults and minors)
  • Scanning of Season Pass ID cards will be required for access.
  • “Guest” passes will be issued on the Primary Account Holder. 1 Guest Pass for Single Season Pass, 2 for Double Passes, and Family Season Passes will have 5 guest passes,
  • All existing Season Pass ID Cards (Pre2024) will not work with our new system. All users will require a new ID card for the 2024 season.
  • New ID cards may be picked up at Stauffer Mansion (preferred) or made at the pools, upon request.  Please note a waiting period may apply if having ID cards created at the pool.

General and Frequently Asked Questions

Q: My child is a camper who visits the pool – How will they pay for their snack items?

A: If planning for your camper to buy food from the concession stand, load any applicable funds to the child’s virtual or physical gift card.  All funds would then be free to use at either pool concession stands.

Q: I would prefer to not send my teen/child with my credit/debit card to the pool. What are my options?

A: You’re free to pre-purchase your child’s admission to the pool online and send them with the receipt. For funds for the concession stand, you may add funds to your child’s physical or virtual gift card.  Please keep in mind all children must be over 12 years of age to visit the pool unaccompanied by an adult.

Q: Will you accept pre-paid Visa/Gift Cards?

A: Yes!  Our card terminals are capable of accepting MasterCard/Visa/Discover/Amex.

Q: Do I really need an ID to access the pool?

A: Yes, all entries to the pool require some identification for the purchasing individual. For in-person sales, an ID will be requested to verify and record first/last name and residency. If utilizing a season pass, your ID card is acceptable as they store your identifying information. If utilizing a pre-paid Daily Admission, identification was established and recorded during the sale.

Q: Will there be a way to look up my account in the event I do not have my physical card with me?

A: Yes! If someone would like to purchase concessions with no physical card, we can look up accounts by name and charge accordingly!

Q: Will I have to load money to my gift card in person? Or would I be able to load money to my card online?

A: There is a link located on the back of each gift card that will prompt you to create an account with Toast which will allow you to load money onto the gift card at home.

PHYSICAL GIFT CARD INITIAL PURCHASE:

  1. Visit any concessions area at Manheim Township (Overlook Activity Center, Skyline, and The Sand Trap) and ask the staff to purchase a gift card.
  2. The staff member will ask you the amount you would like to load onto the gift card.
  3. Tap, swipe, or insert your card, and then you are set to purchase concessions on your new Manheim Township Concessions Gift Card.

RELOADING PHYSICAL GIFT CARDS:

  1. Bring your Manheim Township Concessions Gift Card to any concessions area.
  2. Tell the staff member that is assisting you how much you would like to reload your gift card with.
  3. Tap, swipe, or insert your card, and then you will be set to purchase concessions on your Manheim Township Concessions Gift Card.

E-GIFT CARDS:

  1. Download the Toast Takeout & Delivery app through the app store. (Available for iOS & Android)
  2. Use the search bar to look up "Manheim Township Overlook Activity Center."
  3. Underneath the bold lettering there will be a small, underlined line that says "Buy Gift Card."
  4. Select this option and use your preferred payment to load any amount onto your e-gift card.
  5. The app will ask where you would like to send your e-gift card (You can send this to yourself, or anyone you choose).
  6. To find your loaded gift card within the app, select the home icon at the bottom left of the screen, then select the user icon in the top right of your screen. This will take you to a page that will display your e-gift card.
  7. When you are ready to purchase concessions, click your gift card, and concessions staff will scan your QR code.

E-Gift Cards are not reloadable. They can only be used for the amount that is initially purchased for. Once the E-Gift Cards has hit a 0.00 balance, all steps for the E-Gift Card will need to be completed again for a brand-new E-Gift Card.
